Update March 27th 2024

Moving Day is April 15th, which I’m sure will be (ahem) taxing for the staff but we’re looking forward to it!  We will be closed from 4/15, reopening at the new location on May 1st.  We may have a soft open earlier, it depends on how the move goes.  There are a lot of things to line up, alarm system, moving the safes, getting the phones and data services up and running, and then of course getting all the repair equipment over.

What to know- if you want to drop something off, you can do so up until 4/12 but it will not be looked at until things are well underway at the new location.  Our phone number will remain the same.  If you are planning on sending a repair to us, do not send it if it will arrive between 4/15 and 4/30.

 

 

Update March 14th 2024

Renovations of our new space are well under way.  The official start date of the new location will be May 1st, however we may be moved over a week or two prior, depending on the logistics of the move, completion of renovations, etc.  Regardless we are very excited about the new space!  We will be phasing out retail sales of new watches almost entirely and focusing on our service center, which has grown beyond any expectations we ever had.   You can still come in to drop off repairs, have batteries replaced, straps installed and sized, etc.  Our remaining inventory is on sale, and going fast.  Now is the time to grab that watch you’ve been thinking about!

We are thrilled to announce a significant milestone in The Watchmaker’s history – after 29 years at our 379 Main Street location (37 total years in downtown Stoneham), we are embarking on a new journey to better serve our customers and the growing demand for our services. Starting in Spring 2024 (target late April), you will find us at our new, larger location, just a stone’s throw away at 271 Main Street.  This is the Rosetree Plaza building, we are going to be in Suite 205.
